The Biblical View of the Zodiac
(The Great Gentile Clock)
The Zodiac is a series of 12 celestial Signs, each comprising 4 Constellations. A Sign contains a main Constellation and 3 Attending Constellations each of which provide detail to the meaning and interpretation of the main Constellation. Biblically, the original intent of the Zodiac (Mazzaroth) was to tell the coming of the Savior, Who would save God's chosen out of fallen humanity in fulfillment of the promise of a Savior in Gen 3:15. The Sphinx is the lone Constellation indicating where to start (Virgo) and finish (Leo) the Zodiac. Thus, there are a total of 49 Constellations making up the Biblical Zodiac. Today's Zodiac is a corruption of the original intent, though in several cases the perversion and distortion is not sufficiently severe to fully cloud the original intent. We also discuss the important process by which the original meaning of the Biblical Zodiac is to be recovered.
This series was presented at the 2004 TGF Bible Conference and designed by the teaching eldership of TGF.
Session One
Introduction to the Zodiac: Its Structure, Post-Flood Corruption, and Biblical Recovery
Abstract: This session serves as a detailed introduction to the Zodiacal topic, which is exceptionally rich in content, though now corrupted by post-Flood paganism and continues to this day. In this session we look at:
1) Structure of the Zodiac
2) Biblical Existence of the Ancient Zodiac
3) The Nephilimic and Pagan Corruption of the Zodiac, and finally we define ...
4) A Rigorous Methodology for Its Biblical Recovery
Session Two
The Astronomy of the Zodiac: Establishing a Technical Vocabulary
Abstract: To have a physical "feel" for the relationship between the Zodiacal Signs and the Earth's Seasonal Calendar, it is important to understand the astronomy of the Earth's Orbit and its relationship to the Sun. This presentation will review and define the technical vocabulary to help better our understanding of the astronomy of the Earth. Astronomical terms such as "ecliptic", "obliquity", "perihelion", and more will be defined.
Note. The author hopes that the reader has not forgotten his/her high-school science.
Session Three
The First Great Zodiacal House: Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius
Abstract: The Sphinx (head of Virgo and body of Leo) is the index to the beginning and end of the zodiacal circle, starting with Virgo (virgin birth) and ending with Leo (final triumph of Lion of Judah), respectively. This session addresses the first great book (house) of the Zodiac, namely the first four major signs of the Zodiacal circle and their respective ancillary rooms: Virgo (virgin birth of Christ), Altar (corrupted into Libra) (self-sacrifice of Christ), Scorpio (Christ's great enemy), and Sagittarius (triumph of Dual-Natured One).
Session Four
The Second Great Zodiacal Book: Capricornus, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries
Abstract: This session details the second great book of the Zodiac comprising the middle four major signs or houses of the Zodiacal circle. These middle four signs are:
-
Capricornus
-
Aquarius
-
Pisces
-
Aries
The second book sets forth in more detail the atoning sacrifice - for the righteous elect nations - of the true dual-natured Hercules who defeats their Enemy and enemies, breaks their bond, and is their King.
Session Five
The Third Great Zodiacal Book: Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo
Abstract: This session details the thrid great book of the Zodiac comprising the last four major signs or houses of the Zodiacal circle: These last four signs are:
-
Taurus
-
Gemini
-
Cancer
-
Leo
Thus, this book sets forth in more detail the Elect of the nations of the Dual-Natured Redeemer, together with His final triumph over, and eternal judgment of His enemies.
Post Conference Comments
Abstract: Though a follow up to the 2004 TGF Conference these notes provide very important discussions in the recovery of the original intent of the Zodiac. Every serious student of this interesting topic should thoroughly read this outline.
Session Six
