The History of Israel

This series on the History of Israel briefly examines pieces of Israel's history important for having an understanding of the Nation as well as developing an appreciation of the eternal hope to which Israel has been called.  Her eternal hope is to inherit the land promised to Abraham through Isaac, Jacob, and the Twelve Patriarchs, and to eventually live in New Jerusalem in the eternal kingdom.  Israel's eternal hope  includes the role of being a channel of blessing to the righteous Gentile nations, a piece of their hope to which they have historically failed over and over again.
